Shakespeare Reading Room
Comedy of Errors
Close read and discussion
This delightful little play has more in it than meets the eye. A shipwreck that separates a family, two sets of identical twins, an execution at sunset, a reunion, interspersed with questions of marriage, love, madness, mayhem, and a sonnet. Let’s get familiar with it in preparation for the Upstart Crows production in the Botanical Garden in late July/early August.
This is a friendly, slow reading, making sure we understand every line. No prior experience with Shakespeare necessary. There is lots of discussion. :-)
We have extra copies of the play if you need to borrow one. Drop-ins and guests are always welcome!
Facilitator: Robin Williams.
